My research interests lie in the fields of European politics and social policy, particularly the Europeanisation of national welfare states. More specifically, I study the impact of the European Union on national labour markets and social policies. I am interested in analysing the interplay between external and domestic factors in order to explain policymaking processes and outcomes.
