Habilitation project at the University of Fribourg: ‘Customised Social Europe: Explaining Contestation Against European Social Policies” (June 2023–present).
Abstract: This project analyses the causes of domestic resistance to the adoption of European social policies, examining domestic preferences and coalitions in the process. It also analyses European policymaking processes to understand which EU social policies are supported more or less than others, and how these policies are finally adopted at EU level.
